Merry Christmas!!!

Emma was up at 2am but managed to wait until 4am to open her stocking. Daniel got up at 6am and opened his. Then finally we had breakfast and were able to open presents!!

From Emma: Thanks Nana for the Nintendo 3DS, I can’t play it until it is charged. Grandma Joyce and Grandpa Terry, thanks for the music box! I love my piggy bank from Mary.
I can learn to play the harmonica now as Gran gave me one. I think mom will have to help me with the weaving kit though! I have a pretty sticker book from Steven as well!!

From Daniel (who is now stuck playing I Spy on the Leapster, thanks Nana and Gran for the Leapster games!): Thanks for my sweater Nana! Thanks for my lego Gran!! Grandma Joyce and Grandpa Terry I love my fire truck. I’m saving my sticker book from Steven and am going to play with Emma’s first!

Michael’s mom treated us to a very nice boat tour by Steveston EcoTours around the mouth of the Fraser and into the Pacific Ocean off Steveston, bc.

Happy Hallowe’en from the Stewart Clan!

Then it was off to Boundary Bay for our Thanksgiving dinner!

Also a big thank you to all her sponsors (Steven Wheatley, Rhonda Kasuya, Chantalle Moerman, Bridget Mcguire, Shelley Hildebreid, Fran Schooley, Rodney Stevens, Lyndsay Schooley, Janice Smithurst, David Smith and Marj Docksteader!!) for the swim-a-thon. Emma swam 70 lengths in 55 minutes and raised $127.50!! The club raised $4451.71. Nick Todd swam the most lengths: 168!

10.075 km during Grind Week (July 18 to July 22)
23.45 km during the month of July
60.425 km from May 1st to August 7th. Which is further than the distance from Maple Ridge to the Burrad Inlet in North Vancouver(58 km)

Three month old kids:

Four males (La Mancha/Saanan x Alpine)
one female (La Mancha/Saanan x Alpine) – will be awesome milker
one female Boar cross – super cute, the fawn coloured one

Blacky: Alpine doe – awesome milker (2 years old). Had triplets this year (the three dark kids) milking

Snowy: Alpine-Saanan doe (2 years old) -very good milker, milking

Flopsy & Mopsy: Two Boar cross yearling does, pregnant

Lucy: Purebred Alpine doe (2 years old) pregnant

Rocky: La Mancha x Saanan buck (yearling) – from amazing milking lines
Very friendly and a good pet as well as being a great herd protector.
