Michael and I enjoyed a rare date and we went to the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival to listen to Jacek Kochan with Seamus Blake at the Sun Stage. and here’s Michael’s buddy Dave Restivo:

Emma did great at the swim meet and had fun as well! She is on the Haney Neptunes swim team. This was the first meet of the season and Emma went in the 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly: the pre-race meeting: at Marshaling: so cold!!

This year we had ten baby goats. The first two were just sold and we have eight left! We are also selling the two yearling meat cross does. Let us know if you want one, or two, or three!!

What a great spring it has been! Lots of sunshine now and green grass. We had two pretty doelings born here, Flopsy and Mopsy. We are milking the goats now and the kids like the fresh milk squirted right into their mouths. Rocky thinks he is a dog and Buddy and him are best friends. …

Gran came out for both Emma’s and her birthday. Happy 80th!! Can you believe Emma is six years old?!! Here are some photos from her princess party with the girls from her class: and these are from our family birthday celebration at Nana’s house. Yes, the goat was allowed inside!

First we went to church and rang the protest bells for Kyoto, 350 times! (Ring 350 for Copenhagen) Then off to play in the snow at friends: Then to the Haney Seahorse swim team meet! Emma swam in 4 25m races, backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly!
