Gran came out for both Emma’s and her birthday. Happy 80th!! Can you believe Emma is six years old?!! Here are some photos from her princess party with the girls from her class: and these are from our family birthday celebration at Nana’s house. Yes, the goat was allowed inside!

First we went to church and rang the protest bells for Kyoto, 350 times! (Ring 350 for Copenhagen) Then off to play in the snow at friends: Then to the Haney Seahorse swim team meet! Emma swam in 4 25m races, backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly!

Emma rode Darginka (and Daniel for a bit) and Erin rode Pagoda during the Maple Ridge Christmas Parade with the Haney Horsemen. It was a great time but very cold!

Emma is on the Haney Seahorse Swim Team and is amazing! She went in her first swim meet and had a great time. The grandparents are the timers! Thanks!! Emma is also riding independently now! Daniel is all over the place and Emma calls him the “Maniac”!

Today was the pet blessing at the Church of the Holy Spirit: this bunny just had stillborn babies so Emma thought it was important to bring her to church! I think Daniel’s pet chicken is a cockerel but I think we will be keeping it anyways: Little Diva getting her blessing: and Akpai’s new owner …

We have caught the feral rabbits and Emma is working on taming them. We love the chickens and can’t wait until all the pullets are finally laying. We were originally going to raise a set of turkeys in the spring for next year but we really don’t like Mr. Tom Easter so he is on …
